The easiest town-first shape

Begin in the Banff town core, where food, public washrooms, visitor information, short distances, and backup choices are easier to combine.
Use one cultural or scenic anchor such as Cave and Basin, then return to town for a meal rather than stacking several transfers.
If driving, confirm the current accessible-parking map and rules. In designated downtown accessible stalls, a displayed government-issued placard currently provides up to 3 hours free; posted signs remain the final word.

Using Roam with a mobility device

Roam says its accessible fleet includes ramps, kneeling entrances, priority seating, accessible stop buttons, and wheelchair or scooter space.
Typical mobility devices are supported, but larger four-wheel scooters can have fit limits. Contact Roam before a timing-sensitive trip if device size or boarding support is a concern.
Leave extra time and protect the return trip. Crowding, traffic, weather, and service disruptions can still change an otherwise accessible plan.

Lake Louise and Moraine Lake

Accessible parking at Lake Louise is limited, first come, first served, and requires a valid government-issued placard or plate.
Moraine Lake has no accessible parking. Parks Canada provides accessible shuttle vehicles for visitors with mobility restrictions using the standard shuttle-ticket process.
Present the shuttle ticket and tell staff about mobility needs. If an accessible vehicle is not already there, staff can arrange one; companion space depends on capacity.

Weather and surface reality

A route labelled easy is not automatically barrier-free. Grade, cross-slope, roots, gravel, snow, mud, and construction can change the practical experience.
Use Parks Canada's detailed trail pages for current surface and facility notes, then check same-day conditions before committing.
Keep a town-based indoor backup so an inaccessible surface or weather change does not erase the whole day.
